Graphic Design I & II
(NEEDS EDIT)
Through lectures, demonstrations, group critiques, and individual discussions, this course will introduce students to the field of graphic design.

Students will study the expressive use of text and image to convey a message and arrive at unique effective and innovative design solutions.

Communicating a concept through the integration of graphic elements, images, and text.


Level II students will build on the skills they developed in Graphic Design I

Skills developed in gdI will be applied to a further development of design abilities.

To apply their skills and knowledge, students will be allowed and expected to expand on their design skills.


Intended audience

Students will complete a series of extended projects, each project will be evaluated and critiqued

to ensure proficiency in the field of graphic design, strengthen professional practices
